Thus Future I-49 will remain Future I-49 for the time being.

It's just connected to US71Bus for now, at the roundabout immediately south of the I-49(93)/US71 trumpet.
So the title of this thread isn't the best -- It's correct, it will be extended to I-49 eventually, but it just doesn't describe what's happening right now. (Splitting hairs, I suppose?) The full connection to I-49 will happen when I-49FutBel is converted to I-49 proper, when MO completes its portion to the state line. Years in the future at this point. We can start a new topic for that when it happens.
