Jim,

Noticed that NY 343 is signed following the northern leg of the "Wye", while the TM list follows the southern leg.

The 2007 NYSDOT Traffic Data Report file that I've been using for reference appears to show TinTownRd as "RT 22 SPUR" and then follows the route as currently plotted down to NY 22.

Further investigation shows that this spur is listed in the 2009 Touring Routes list from NYSDOT as reference route 980G. So the real routing of NY 343 is as how it is currently plotted, despite the confusing signage.

The TDV and 2015 shapefiles show these designations to have flipped.
2014 TDR also references NY343 @ "TOWN OF WASHINGTON & TOWN OF AMENIA".
On the ToDo list.

Not to be confused with ButtHoleRd. ;)
There's some other similar stuff out there that makes me giggle, though no specific examples come to mind right now.
AssRd is a bit too easy...
