WA: WA 501 Spur
« on: May 09, 2017, 01:11:51 am »
Can't seem to find the old topic (maybe it was on the AARoads TM forum?), but Spur 501 on the westside of Lake Vancouver is missing from the browser. It is signed at the intersection with WA 501.

WA 501 Spur is posted at the split. WA 501 has been closed to cars north of the last farm. Should it be truncated?

SR 501 Spur is not listed in the State Highway Log, so I'm not sure if it should be added to the HB. But SR 501's southern section definitely should be truncated at the northern end.

I changed my mind and decided to add SR 501 spur and I shortened the southern section of SR 501 further south than the farm to a location where there is a gate. Pull request here

EDIT: Also added WA 9 Spur in Sumas, which really should be called WA 9 Truck IMO because it connects to the truck border crossing into Canada. Since it is only for semi trucks, now I'm realizing that I just made WA's highway system REALLY difficult to clinch 100%...  ;D

I noticed that Spur a few years ago; parked and walked up to the 49th and back, just in case it ever showed up in the HB. I'll update my log file now.

I'm really happy to hear that someone was able to clinch that spur route. Hopefully you didn't look suspicious walking up to the border and then turning around...
