OR: I-405 at I-5
« on: June 18, 2016, 10:54:33 am »
Mainly for Bick:

As we have the Oregon Interstate routes currently set up, there is no way to reflect where one loops around from I-405 to I-5 on the south side of downtown Portland (or vice versa) for a traveler who has not continued south along I-5 from there.

I'll double check the I-5 file, but I believe I added the missing point when I did the (currently unsubmitted) clean up of the file. Haven't gotten to I-405 yet.

Planning to run one more site update tonight, but I don't see these pull requests yet.

Made some adjustments to both I-5 and I-405.
Originally, +x59 was where I-5 made its turn from the Baldock Freeway alignment and onto the thrust of the Marquam Bridge. I moved the point down and slightly to the east of I-405-1A (the Harbor Dr exit between I-405's merge with I-5 and where it swings onto the downtown loop) to break any concurrency on I-405's southern tailend. I then changed I-405's +x1 (at the downtown loop transition point) to 1, and moved I-5's 299B from where the ramps merge on the bridge itself to match with I-405-1, facilitating mapping of the downtown loop if neither the southern end of I-405 nor the Baldock Freeway portion of I-5 were clinched.
