NLD: N2 Maastrict point off for concurrency
« on: December 18, 2016, 04:31:51 pm »
On N2 Maastrict, the point A79 has coordinates of 50.870030°, 5.729712° but E25 has coordinates of 50.870030°, 5.729713° so that final digit of longitude is just of breaking the concurrency.

Looking, I'm certain that is deliberate - the A2 is now the E25, and the N2 isn't concurrent with it.

Okay, the rest of the route is marked as concurrent.  So if it isn't supposed to be, the next waypoint A2(53) might need that slight adjustment to non-concurrency too.

Si, definitely not supposed to be concurrent as the site shows at this time.  The city Utrecht could be removed from A2 though, now that it is one section.

Now for me to understand what route goes where to update travels.  A2 & E25 are definitely in the lower tunnel.  The upper tunnel is confusing though is it N2, or an alternate A2 & E25.  Then the surface street is either N2 or just a city street depending on what the upper tunnel is.  I guess I will have to wait for more of the project to complete to get the clarity to know the right answer about N2 updates.

it's not me whose dealing with NLD anymore, else I'd be telling you definitively why it's mapped like that. Knowing about that scheme, and that the 0.000001 offset is the way we break concurrencies for parallel routes, I could only tell you that it looks to be a deliberate concurrency breaker.

Thanks, I've already done it offline.

Lower tubes are A2/E25, upper tubes N2. The old road will be demolished: http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showpost.php?p=137163990&postcount=14094.
In addition, N2 has only a southbound carriageway b/n exit 52 and exit 53.

That means, you have not yet traveled any route between exit 53 and exit 54 :)

I think I should improve the update entry...
